Philemon Jimmys is a visual artist, specialising in wood carving, from the island of Tongoa, who lives with his family in Port Vila. His work explored the histories and forms of the Lapita people, represented in a large carved wooden vessel carved with patterns found on remnants of Lapita pottery.
